These cards were created using one (1) sheet of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper.
The card base is white cardstock cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″ with a left side fold. The multiple cardstock layers of white, blue, white, then the designer series paper, give the card the creative interest. Creating this type of card works best with a very pretty repeating patterned paper such as the one shown. Although the cards are identically made by cutting the 12 x 12 paper into 3 x 3 squares, because the birds and foliage each have different positioning within each 3 x 3 cut, each card appears to be subtly different.
The Card base is cut 11″ x 4-1/4″ and scored at 5.5″ with a left side fold. 1″ is cut from the right side of the card.
The following Stampin’ Up! materials were used: Gone Fishing Stamps #161535 and dies #161541 Designer Series Paper Let’s Go Fishing # 161534 Sentiment from Paper Pumpkin April 2023, All the Little things.
These Gift Bags are made from 12″ x 12″ Stampin Up! Designer Series Paper with a finished size of 8″ x 8″ x 2″ deep.
The bags were cased from Sara Douglass’ video https://www.facebook.com/asarathing/videos/1141136777077095. The only differences from Sara’s video are that I used Yarn which is punched through the bag then tied inside the bag to create the handles rather than using ribbon; and, in the case where the pattern on the opposite side was not complimentary to the pattern on the other side, I used coordinating cardstock to create the top border.
The following Stampin! Up materials were used: Designer Series Paper, “Just Kiddin” #162828 Designer Series Paper, “Flowers & More” #160802
This card is an especially nice birthday card suitable for anyone on your birthday list. My own design, this card uses the standard card base of 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ with a left side fold.
A multi-layered design is used to create depth and interest while enhancing the birthday greeting focal point. The interesting “stitched” look of all the dies used provides a subtle quilted sewn look.
